Attachment 1: Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality 鈥撀燘one Student Center and Braden Auditorium

The client must sign an agreement and complete any other forms or applications required to comply with the agreement.

Reserving Facilities

To schedule or reserve space at the Bone Student Center and Braden Auditorium, please complete the

Services Offered

EMDH can accommodate a wide variety of events, from large meetings to intimate receptions with complimentary access to wireless internet services.

We offer more than forty-thousand (40,000) square feet of event space in the Bone Student Center, which includes the Brown Ballroom that accommodates up to eleven hundred (1,100) guests. The Bone Student Center offers several retail outlets which includes dining, merchandise, entertainment, printing, and banking services. Days and hours of operations vary. Additionally, concourse tables may be rented in designated areas.

EMDH can also host performances in Braden Auditorium that offers seating for up to three thousand, four hundred and fifty (3,450) guests. Performances at Braden Auditorium are subject to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement with International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). Please contact your event planner for further details.

EMDH offers a wide range of audio-visual and presentation items. Some equipment may require additional labor charges and operators. EMDH will not rent equipment off-site.

Client Type

EMDH has sole discretion to determine client type based on information at the time of booking. The Client is bound by the procedures and rates as outlined by the client type.

University Department Clients

精选AV department clients can request to use EMDH spaces, services, and equipment at reduced rates.

The following Facility Agreement and Rate Sheet apply for University Department Clients:

Public Clients

A person or public organization can request the use of EMDH spaces, services, and equipment at a standard rate.

The following Facility Agreement and Rate Sheet apply for Public Clients:

Nonprofit Clients

A group or entity with a charitable purpose, instead of a profitable one. Proof of nonprofit must be provided before any payment is made.

The following Facility Agreement and Rate Sheet apply for Nonprofit Clients:

Sponsored RSO

Registered Student Organization that is sponsored by an 精选AV academic department.

The following Facility Agreement and Rate Sheet apply for Sponsored RSO Clients:

Independent RSO

Registered Student Organization that is independent of the University and university departments.

Catering

EMDH provides catering services on 精选AV's campus and the Foundation properties. All catering within the Bone Student Center is provided through EMDH. EMDH prohibits any food or beverage to be brought into the Bone Student Center and Braden Auditorium. Any group that brings in outside food or beverage will be asked to remove the item(s) immediately. University and Illinois Health Code policy prohibit the removal of catered food, beverage, or both from any event.

Late Night Events

Late Night Events (LNE) are considered any event on Friday or Saturday evenings starting at 11:30 p.m. or later in the Bone Student Center and must conclude by 2:30 a.m. Clients must submit a to the Event Services and Catering Office no later than forty-five (45) days prior to the event date that is being requested. If approval is given, the client must agree to any additional requirements and costs based on an updated and approved risk assessment before the reservation is confirmed.
