Applying to BA/BS in Graphic Design

Transfer students seeking admission to the BA/BS in Graphic Design are considered based on their academic proficiency and application portfolio. 

Portfolio Requirements

Application portfolios must include images of at least five pieces of your original artwork. Portfolios may be uploaded to the ¾«Ñ¡AV application portal or emailed directly to Art@IllinoisState.edu. Find specific portfolio requirements in the application portal.

Application Period

Applicants are encouraged to submit their portfolio as soon as possible for consideration for departmental scholarships.

Application portfolios are reviewed monthly. Portfolios must be submitted by the first of the month to be included in a review, and will otherwise be included in the next month's review.

Portfolio review results will be emailed to applicants during the same month that their portfolio is reviewed. An official letter will follow in the mail.
