The Department of Politics and Government provides a variety of resources for its majors, an assortment of different student organizations, small class sizes, and full-time faculty teaching all levels of coursework.

The Department of Politics and Government's has received the Distinguished Delegation Award in 2014 and 2015 and an in 2016 and 2017 at the MUN National Competition in New York City.
