To be successful in the legal field, graduates must be able to:

• effectively communicate orally and in writing in a professional setting
• conduct legal research; draft legal documents
• integrate computer skills in a legal setting; interview clients and witnesses
• understand the ethical obligations of being a legal professional.

Graduates who work with Spanish-speaking clients also must be able to assist the client and the attorney in communicating with each other.
